Startup Porto aims to foster the emergence and development of a new generation of business by promoting entrepreneurship programs, not only for the Porto ecosystem but for entire country. We aim to ease the process between imagining a product and deliver it to the market, by offering a large range of programs, such as pre-acceleration, acceleration and events to connect entrepreneurs and investors, that will target different stages of development.

It is essential to have a space of network between startups, industry and education. Consequently, Startup Porto aims to create this link through its process of incubation and partnerships with other similar networks, such as innovation hubs.

Startup Porto provides incubation and acceleration services, both at PORTIC as well as in the facilities of the School of Management and Technology (ESTG), in Felgueiras. These services are provided to P.PORTO community (professors, researchers, students and alumni) and existent startups in a sustainable business process (maximum 3 years of existence) and with integration of innovation knowledge in products/services.

Incubation models include:

• Physical incubation: pre-incubation (1 year), incubation (2 years), business development (2 years);
• Virtual incubation.
